
E&J Sustainability Framework
The E&J Group of Companies (E&J Group) is committed to its compliance with its Sustainability Framework, inter alia, seek guidance from the relevant authoritative requirements such as Guidance Note 11 of the ACE Market Listing Requirements, in particular, paragraph 30 of Appendix 9C, on how sustainability is positioned and governed (‘sustainability governance”) within E&J Group and a disclosure of its application and practice as required by the Malaysia Code of Corporate Governance 2017 (“MCCG 2017”).
Sustainability to E&J means development and construction of communities, townships and residential properties in a responsible manner that balances short-term and long-term interests and that integrates economic, governance, environmental and social considerations into decision making. Our sustainability policy is aligned with relevant global and local frameworks and benchmarks, namely, the Global Reporting Initiative (“GRI”) and Bursa Malaysia’s Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. Where required and/or deemed appropriate, we will seek guidance / make reference to FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Index and Sustainable Development Goals (“SDGs”).
